The house in which he was born , origanlly a minister's quarters, now rests on the town square and hosts a museum devoted to the author's story. The centerpiece of the park, a one acre demonstration garden, already grows fresh produce which is sold locally. The park will inlcude buildings which all together will give visitors a sense of stepping back in time to a page from Caldwell's most famous novel.
